Ramadan: that time of year when people indulge in binge-watching TV series, family gatherings and beautiful iftars. 

While Ramadan series have become sophisticated over the years, drawing the attention of those far and near, this Ramadan you're in for a treat. 

The 13th season of the comedy series Spotlight (Bokaat Daw) will be released during the holy month, which is set to start on May 27 - with Syrian actor Salloum Haddad and Lebanese actress Hiba Dagher taking the lead roles in a sketch featured in the series. 

Haddad will be playing Donald Trump and Dagher his wife and first lady Melania Trump.

Syrian actress Wafaa Mousally will play the role of Hillary Clinton. 

The series - directed by Fadi Sleem - was filmed in Damascus, and produced by Samaa El Fan

The hype all started when images of people carrying American flags walking the streets of Yaafour, near the Syrian capital surfaced on the internet.  

Little did those who posted the images online know that the scene was part of the act.
