Egypt's capital is known for its disorganized, deranged and disordered scenes. However, in the midst of the city's chaos, one filmmaker, Hisham Moll, was able to find the beauty that is often forgotten.

CairoLapse is a short, time-lapse film created to showcase the charm that lies behind the dirty streets of the city along with its liveliness within its remarkable culture and traditions.

"A grand total of 11,878 photos were taken, but only about 4,000 were used. This project was a trial and error process," Moll said. "I learned a lot from the successful shoots, but even more from the failures."

With the help of a dedicated team of seven, Moll was able to highlight the true allure of Cairo and its streets and thanks to this short film, people will now be able to explore the full value of the city as well as its cultural richness and classical appeal.
