Many of us have fallen for Uber's convenience, even if its not always cheaper.

Across the globe, Uber has found success – and of course controversy as well. But the success seems to have won out and Uber has been playing with a whole range of additional services.

According to a recent report in Arabian Business, that might include private helicopter and luxury yacht services in the Middle East in the near future.

"For us, focus is important. There’s a lot of runway left in the transport piece. However, experiments are continuing and we hope to bring those experiments to this region someday," Jambu Palaniappan, Uber's general manager for the Middle East and North Africa, told Arabian Business.

Boat and helicopter services have already been tested by Uber in Istanbul and South Africa. In addition, Uber is also in talks with Dubai's Road and Transport Authority over the possibility of launching a carpool feature, which would allow for users to share rides with other users heading in the same direction.

Until Uber actually rolls out its helicopter service, we'll just have to be satisfied with the car option. But in the meantime, we're checking to see if our building has a helipad.
