Two years ago, no one would have thought a six second video could have the ability to go viral. And now Vine, an app made exclusively for sharing these short videos, is a worldwide trend.
Twitter saw the photo-sharing app's potential and acquired it in January 2013. Vine has progressed over the years and now includes trending hashtags, facilitating the search process for users.
