Coldplay fans in the Arab world have a bone to pick with the band, launching campaign after campaign to get the band to perform in Arab countries ... that aren’t the United Arab Emirates.

Now it’s Egypt’s turn, and the campaign is both massive and extremely creative.

The Starfish Campaign  asks Coldplay to extend its "Head Full of Dreams Tour" to Egypt in a social media campaign that has grabbed the attention of more than 46,000 people.

The campaigners have now come out with a photo album of artwork by Adel Allam ... all inspired by Coldplay's "Up&Up" music video.

"We believe in the effect of social media and we believe we can make a buzz," the groups says on its Facebook page .

See a bird soaring high above the flood...

See a pearl form a diamond in the rough

Up and up...

We're gonna get it, get it together right now

Gonna get it, get it together somehow

Up and up

The campaign is not limited to Facebook. It’s also spread to Twitter under the hashtag #ColdplayInEgypt to try and make the dreams of Egyptians finally come to life.

Cause they were all yellow … and lots of other colors

A head full of dreams … about a concert in Egypt

Because it would be a night to remember

Down on our knees

TAKE MY MONEY … please
