Listed as one of the top 10 art fairs in the world, the Beirut Art Fair (and fun Beirut Art Week that comes along with it), was simply popping with pop art this year.
First launched in 2010, this now anticipated annual event saw around 50 international modern and contemporary art and design galleries exhibiting. From sculpture to video, mixed media and painting, 18 - 21 September 2014 was alive with artistic vibes at the main venue at Biel and throughout the streets and shops of Downtown Beirut as part of Beirut Art Week. The Beirut Art Fair featured an Indian pavilion this year in addition to the works of artists from the Middle East and beyond.
A little birdy told us that many Lebanese galleries and artists will be exhibiting at the Singapore Art Fair in January 2015.
