1. So 70s with Elie Saab
The 70s and its disco music inspired the King of the Red Carpet this season. We loved the funky star prints, the sparkly fabrics, the sporty caps with sexy evening dresses and the flowing silhouette. Saab is one of very few designers who can pull the sporty/feminine/delicate look so well and this collection is living proof of that.
If there's one message we can take away from this show it’s this one: “be the funky star of the night or go home!”

No one can do the ultra glamorous/super sexy look quite as well as Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. His spring/summer 2017 collection made us swoon over every single piece from bomber jackets with puffed up sleeves to cropped trousers with illusion panels to peplum tops with cinched waists.
The collection might be under the “ready to wear category” but it’s as much suitable for the red carpet as any couture collection and should in fact fall under the “ready to wear and steal the show” category!
3. Silent beauty with Georges Hobeika
Inspired by the silent beauty of the oceans and under water worlds, Hobeika’s designs for Spring Summer 2017 are the perfect choice for the ethereal, princess-like look. It is absolutely hard to resist falling in love with these full skirt cocktail dresses, embellished cropped jackets with flower motifs and perfectly tailored jumpsuits.
4. Just relax with Noon by Noor
If you are into relaxed cuts, boxy shapes, sporty looks inspired by pajamas and neutral tones then you should add these pieces from Noon by Noor to your wish list. The Bahraini brand gave us remarkably light and airy pieces injected with a high dose of femininity, freshness and modernity.
Think of it this way: It’s what Cinderella would wear to a 2016 pajama party.
5. Secret gardens with Reem Acra
Inspired by a secret garden in the 80s, Lebanese designer Reem Acra offered a chic collection of ruffled tops, flower printed skirts and oversized sleeves.
The pieces had a romantic appeal accented by tones of pale pink, pastel blue and bright red. It’s what your outfit would look like if a flower bomb exploded on it!
