Passenger shaming, the most amazing website ever besides StepFeed, is shining a spotlight on bad passengers around the world. Started by a former flight attendant, the website has taken the internet by a storm recently. It crowd sources examples, asking users to submit photos of terrible plane behavior using #PassengerShaming or sending an email to the founders.
We are a bit addicted to the website, as well as travel in general, and so have pulled the seven people you should never be on the plane. Ever.
1. First class clipper
Submitted by a passenger who was lucky enough to be in first class, this behavior does not even rank coach. Keep your toe nail clipping at home, people.
2. High roller
The days of dressing up for air travel are gone, as well as the free peanuts and two bags of luggage per person. However, that does not mean it is ok to travel with curlers in hair.
3. Footsie maniac
This should go without saying, but keep your feet located an appropriate distance from your chair. No one else wants to see those bare toes, especially complete strangers.
4. Mr. Messy
It may be boring when there are delays, but that is no excuse to be a slob.
5. Cast member of footloose
While playing footsie with fellow-travelers is an obvious no-go, some commuters take it to a whole new level. How many times can we say it, but keep those feet on the floor, under the tray table in front of you.
6. Ready adventurist
This is not necessarily a faux-pas, but this not-so frequent flyer is taking safety precautions to the next level.
7. Stealth pee-er
This is just so gross, it is not even a word. We have no more to say on the subject except: don't. No exceptions.
