Although Dubai is known for its skyscrapers, its enormous malls and its tourist attractions, there's so much the city offers that falls outside of these material things.
There is something about the city that really gets the positive aura going... and any person visiting the the city can recognize it.
Even Will Smith called it one of his favorite cities in the world, alongside Miami. But, that's not all. Artists from around the world can't help but show their love for the city. Here are 5 songs that just couldn't resist the charm.
1. A "Dubai State of Mind" is actually real
This replica of the famous "Empire State of Mind ," is for all the Dubai lovers out there. We all know that at some point the Dubai state of mind takes over... and once that happens, there is no going back. You know you've become a victim when # MyDubai is basically the only hashtag you've come to use. EVER.
2. Because "this love in Dubai" is indescribable
Although dating in Dubai is not the easiest thing in the world ... there's something about the city that makes you feel like love is pretty much all around.
3. Not to forget the "Skyscrapers in Dubai..."
Dubai is known to be home to some of the world's record-breaking buildings... and its skyscrapers make the perfect skyline. After all, the city's skyline stood strong at No.6 in the world in a ranking carried out in 2015. Tune in at minute 2:06... when "skyscrapers in Dubai" sneaks into this song.
4. "No stress baby you can find us... getting down on a beach in Dubai"
The best part about Dubai is the year-long sunny weather (minus those sandstorms... that are happening way too often), making it the perfect place to hit the beach. Although the heat can get a bit too unbearable in the summer (seasonal depression in the summer sound familiar?)... the beach is always the answer. Tune in at minute 1:24.
5. "In Dubai 20 million on a villa loft"
We've all come across this song and although it is quite controversial, the artists couldn't help but mention Dubai. We all know the city is pretty expensive, there's no denying that. After all, it is home to some of the world's most expensive things . Tune in at minute 1:15.
