Muslims around the world are marking the end of Ramadan, so naturally, Eid El-Fitr celebrations are in check.
On that occasion, there are two types of people: those who go above and beyond to make the best of the holiday, and those who keep things simple and sit the festivities out.
If you're part of the second group - and let's face it, you probably are - then you know just how underwhelming Eid can be. People belonging to the first group are currently too busy to browse social media, so here is an exclusive list of memes to members of the "no-Eid-plans" club:
1. Eid plans explained through a set of memes
Team "No Plans" might be boring, but at least we're good with memes.
2. Who said catching up on sleep is a lame idea?
Thought you would fix your Ramadan sleeping schedule by waking up early for Eid? Never going to happen!
3. Wandering from your bed to the couch ... and back again
You will only get up for food and coffee breaks ... or until your mama forces you out of the house.
4. Traveling from one social media platform to the other
Nothing makes you feel bad about your non-existent plans ... not even watching other people have the time of their lives (or at least pretend to).
5. The only plan you'll actually stick to
More coffee, please!
6. Expectation VS. Reality
Life hack: Keep your expectations at a minimum.
7. It doesn't get any more accurate than this
God bless Netflix and fast WiFi connection.
8. Plans so special they need a Venn diagram to be demonstrated
Maybe if we put in as much effort into making plans as we do into creating memes, we would actually enjoy Eid. But, oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
9. Chilling at home ... but in style
Kinda wanna stay in your pajamas, kinda wanna post a bomb selfie on Instagram. The struggle is real.
10. Studying during Eid = Torture
May the force be with you if you have to be productive during Eid.
11. This sums it up
Harry Potter knows what's up.
Plans or not, Happy Eid!
We apologize for the somber vibes.
